Festivals are dawning upon us and we must be ready to celebrate it in style. Festivals are a great way to dress however you want and there is no stopping you. It is a perfect time to take your lace top out and style it with your shorts or skirts and head to the festival.
For this festival season, I’m showing my love for lace by wearing this grey lace sheer top. It is completely see through and leaves a lot of space to get creative. I have worn a black sports bra underneath to give it the cool and casual look.
Paired this cool getup with blue high-waisted shorts and white Nike sneakers. I have glamed up a bit by using stud bhindis at the corner of eyes. Finished the look with a high ponytail and a black sling bag.
If you are looking for more festival outfits, like Nh7 Weekender is around the corner you can read this post on my blog that I did last year. It has a detailed breakdown of all the outfits you can wear to this 2 day Music Extravaganza. You can thank me a later!
If you notice I have mismatched socks on and it is just to take the sneaker game a level up. Since my shoes has two accent colors (pink and grey), I thought of going full crazy by wearing pink and grey socks together. You can opt for mismatched socks if you have accent colors in your shoes. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t wear mismatched socks. Wear it and rock it!
2. Sheer Blouse

Sheer outfits doesn’t hold only good for casual and festival occasions. If you wear a sheer blouse with a brallete or a tank and pair it with a tailored skirt or pants you are bound to look put together and rock this look, be it in a meeting or at the office.
For an office or a meeting look, I have worn this chiffon blouse that has the perfect sheerness to it. It is not bold and I can wear a brallete or a tank underneath and I’m all set for a meeting. The sheer long sleeves is another touch of feminine which I absolutely love. I paired this elegant blouse with black skinny jeans and a pair of nude heels. I finished this polished look with a red structured handbag.
3. Sheer Socks
I love a vintage look. These days I’m gravitated towards polka dots, exaggerated sleeves and socks with heels/shoes.
This sheer socks with heels/sandals look somewhat gives an air of 1920s where gloves and socks were a must for ladies. Incorporating socks with your heels can alleviate your otherwise boring outfit into a statement one. You can choose from a variety, like polka dots, tulle, mesh or plain sheer socks with your heels. I promise it will put a glamorous spin to your outfit.
4. Mesh it up

This is another festival look. Can you finish a festival celebration without an all black outfit? Another sheer piece that I am wearing, this is a mesh sheer top and again completely see through. Layered it with a black deep neck brallete to give it a cool look. You can go for other color to bring a pop of color to your outfit.
A black mini skirt to go with all the black get up. White sneakers to keep my feet safe and a fanny pack to complete the festival look. Festivals can get pretty crowded so a fanny pack is a must to keep your essentials safe.
The key to successfully pulling off sheer clothing is to have a good quality undergarments. Undergarments is very important and it can make or break your entire outfit. Before getting into the sheer trend, invest in some good quality undergarments.
